Shirly Caspi is a yoga teacher who leads teacher trainings, retreats, workshops, classes and an online digital library.
She combines a unique approach of a physical practice along with deep thought provoking philosophy teachings.
This tailor made site captures the values she stands for in a very visual manner, combining east and west along with earth and water elements.
BRANDING
Working on the creative direction for this project was both extremely fun and very challenging. Upon discussing the projected initially, Shirly asked to combine elements from both the physical and spiritual worlds. Water and earth along with Zen and Buddhism. Minimalism and simplicity but still with a warm inviting presence.
Most of the photography work on this project was also taken by us in order to capture and stay in tune with the creative direction.
LOGO
The logo is inspired by the Zen Buddhism ensō circle symbol, combined together with the infinity symbol.
The ensō symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and mu (the void) and is characterised by a minimalism born of Japanese aesthetics.
The meaning behind the logo represents the infinite circle of life made in one brushstroke which is both perfect and imperfect at the same time as is life.
PLATFORM
Shirly Caspi Yoga is a bespoke platform giving life to all of her offerings, including teacher trainings, a digital library of classes, workshops, retreats and a dynamic schedule. We created a fully customized design for this project and used WordPress as the framework in order to build out the different sections of the site.

Shirly Caspi has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years. Her passion and devotion to yoga is not just in the studio, but rather a way of life.
Working with Daniel and the Makai team on my project was a fascinating experience filled with creativity and passion.
